A native Californian from Inglewood, Mallory Figueroa is the founder of H.E.I.R.S. Honoring Exceptional Individuals Rising to Success. Mallory is responsible for the vision, strategy, and fundraising efforts for H.E.I.R.S. as it expands across the country.

Mallory is an advocate for youth rights in her community for over 17 years. She is a resource parent for 10 years and remains dedicated to preserving the hope and motivation within the youth she cares for. She has served our youth through her work in residential treatment and mentorship programs. Mallory currently works with students as a Social Emotional Learning Specialist for the Lake Elsinore Unified School District.
This inspired Mallory to create H.E.I.R.S. and educate the youth on how to break generational patterns to become the best expression of themselves. Her goal is to provide youth and young adults with emergency and permanent housing, educational and health resources, mentorship, and other tools needed to be successful in life.
Rasheedah Johnson joined H.E.I.R.S as the President in 2021. She has a passion to help and support the youth in her community bring their dreams to life. She continues to use her life skills and sociology degree to meet people where they are and speak in terms that will be mutually understood.
Rasheedah volunteered with Building Bridges as a mentor and adult staff with inner-city youth between 14 -18 years of age. During her time with Building Bridges, she underwent extensive training regarding diversity, equity and acceptance. She led small and large group of inner-city youth through the process of accepting people for who they are and gave them the tools to set and achieve their goals.
Rhyan Thomas is the Secretary of H.E.I.R.S., Inc. She is a child advocate for the prevention of child abuse, neglect, and maltreatment. Rhyan is passionate about infant mental health and wellness including that of children who are in the preverbal developmental stages of life. With a master’s degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology, Rhyan works to empower youth and young adults to live beyond childhood traumas, chase their dreams and achieve their goals.
Lauren Morrison is the Treasurer of H.E.I.R.S. With more than 8 years of QA/QC and operations management experience, she has had great success with regulating and fulfilling projects on both a small and large scale. While her focus has been working in operations; Lauren has obtained skills that allowed her to manage financial assets and liabilities of a company. For the past 7 years, Lauren has been doing community outreach work at her local church. All these experiences have made her not only a beneficial part to her community, but also a candidate to share her story and continue to help others.
